The president of the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (INAMEH), Reidy Zambrano, assured that the National Risk Management System (SNGR) is active with the strategic prevention actions contained in the Rain Care Plan, due to the passage of tropical waves numbers 8 and 9, which will cross Venezuelan territory in the coming days.
“We are estimating a lot of rainfall for the next few days and, therefore, the National Risk Management System is organized to address any type of situation that may arise,” Zambrano said in the program Connected with Morrocoy broadcast on Melao 99.9FM in Tucacas, Falcón state, reported Prensa MPPRIJP .
Zambrano recalled that between 58 and 65 tropical waves are expected to pass through, so INAMEH is constantly monitoring to issue newsletters 24 hours a day, through its social networks.
“The INAMEH report is very important because it always describes what is happening at the moment and what is expected for the next few hours,” he said.
He also added that if any major news occurs, the community will be informed as soon as possible, so that appropriate preventive measures can be taken.
“We are always active, the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology is due to the people and it is our duty to keep the entire population informed (...) so we are under their command”, emphasized the president of INAMEH.
