On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the assassination of prosecutor Danilo Anderson, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, maintained that justice is indebted to the punishment of the masterminds of this terrorist act that mourned the country.

“The extreme right now miamera, the intellectual actors all fled the country, they are all in Miami, there is still a debt in the country with the assassination of Danilo Anderson,” he said during his show Con Maduro+, number 67.

He recalled that this terrorist act of November 18, 2004 occurred a few days after the overwhelming victory of Supreme Commander Hugo Chávez in the ratification referendum of August 15 of that same year.

“It was an act of terrorism, just weeks after the victory in the recall referendum, it means that this extreme right no longer respected the rules of the game,” he said while recalling that after this crime, opposition extremism applied the formula of harm and deception.

Danilo was physically killed and then they campaigned to morally annihilate him, but what Danilo really deserves is a tribute for being a courageous man,” he said and called for justice to be done.

“Hopefully we can see the payment of that debt, and the masterminds are captured,” he closed.
