National President received Credentials from Japanese Ambassador Yasushi Sato

This Monday, October 07, from the Aquiles Nazoa Cultural House, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, received the Credential Letters of His Excellency Mr. Yasushi Sato, ambassador appointed by Japan to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
The National President, together with the first Combatant Cilia Flores and the Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yván Gil, received the ambassador, who arrived accompanied by his wife Yuma Sato and the first Secretary of the diplomatic mission, Keika Furukawa.
The Japanese diplomat was born in Tokyo in 1961 and joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1984, where he expanded his diplomatic career in America, the United States and Spain.
He also served as third secretary at the Embassy in Uruguay (1987), second secretary of the country's Embassy in Chile (1995), and was director of the Cultural and Information Section of the Embassy of Japan in Mexico (1998).
He also served as Deputy Consul General in Miami (2009), was First Secretary of the Embassy of Japan in Peru (2005), Previously, Deputy Consul General in Miami (2009) and First Secretary of the Embassy of Japan in Peru (2005).
Prior to his appointment in the city of Caracas, he served as Consul General in Barcelona, Spain.
Diplomatic relations between Venezuela and Japan have been characterized by the strengthening of economic, political and cultural cooperation, in order to invigorate the development of both Peoples.
