National president, prosecutor Khan: We fight for a world where international law is respected

“This 21st century Venezuela joins the struggle of a world for the great changes of humanity, for peace and justice in the world, where there are no colonial or neocolonial empires, where racism and discrimination cease, where relations of respect and equality can be established between countries and States of the world, where international law is truly respected.”

With these words, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, reiterated to the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, Karim Khan, the nation's commitment to the emergence of a new civilization, truly humane, where there are no powerful countries that intend to oppress the countries of the global South.

Venezuela is at peace, democratic Venezuela that seeks truth and that seeks justice for now and forever,” stressed the head of state at the end of the second day of meetings between the National Government and the Public Prosecutor's Office, which began this Monday with a series of meetings with the Venezuelan president as well as with Vice President Delcy Rodríguez, authorities of the National Assembly, the Supreme Court of Justice and the Public Ministry.
