National President: On March 8, the Federation of Venezuelan Women was born

More than 4.5 million women have registered with the Great Venezuela Women's Mission (GMVM) in the Federation of Venezuelan Women, in order to give continuity to the 7 Transformations promoted by the Bolivarian Government of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro for this sector of the country.

“On March 8, International Women's Day, the powerful and great federation of Venezuelan women is born, from the grassroots committees of the territories it will be a great support for women and their social leadership. Women in power!” , stressed the national president during the Con Maduro+ program.

The Head of State specified that the Great Mission of Venezuela Women has 4,541,394 registered women from all the states of the country who will be fully assisted in matters of health, education, economic empowerment, justice, political participation and culture.

The Executive proposes the articulation of all comprehensive care programs for women, through this Great Mission, in order to increase their efficiency and reach.

To date, the Great Mission of Venezuela Women has served 566,624 women at all levels in different areas of social protection, the President said.

“The Great Venezuela Women's Mission calls on working women; young students; housewives; all women to continue to organize and empower themselves in the debate, to listen to the proposals and meet the needs of this social group.
