The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, invited the country's communities this Friday to participate in the National Popular Consultation next Sunday, October 18.

From the Mission Base in the Villa Zoila de la Cota 905 Commune, Santa Rosalía parish in Caracas, the president stressed that the Venezuelan people will come out to exercise leading, participatory democracy for the election of projects.

He explained that “there are more than 37,000 projects to choose from”, of which 428 are from condominium councils. “For the first time, condominium meetings are participating, which gives us great happiness. Condominium boards, communal circuits, it's the organization from the base of the community, it's popular power,” he said.

He stressed that it is a matter of “strengthening the decision of the daily affairs of our population, of our community, that is in the hands of the communities. That is essential and extraordinary for moving forward.”
