National President: Let the CNE set the date, day and time that the People win

This Monday, March 4th, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, referring to the 2014 Presidential Elections, affirmed that the revolutionary people are ready for victory the day the National Electoral Council (CNE) convenes.

“The CNE that sets the date, sets the day, sets the time that the People win. The revolutionaries, the Chavistas and the patriots will come out to win, to prepare!” , he said.

He recalled that the CNE has already received the proposals for Presidential Elections 2024, “whatever it has to decide. I really tell you: whatever the CNE decides is a sacred word and we will say amen”.

The head of state noted that he took advantage of the opportunity of his presence and participation in the VIII Summit of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC), and explained individually to the Presidents and Prime Ministers about the Presidential Elections process, “then I said it in the Plenary.”

“I told them that Venezuela is going to have an impeccable, exemplary process of national dialogue, in which all political, business, cultural, intellectual and religious sectors have participated,” he said.

He added that 43 political movements and parties have participated in this dialogue, representing 85% of the vote in the last elections and 97% of those with a CNE card.
