As part of the actions to guarantee the increase in gold mining production in Venezuela, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, set up an ecological plant for the exploitation of this mineral in Callao, Bolívar state.

In the closing of Expo Metal 2025 and the activation of the Mining Engine, the National President specified that the Minerven Ecological Plant will allow the exploitation of gold ore to be added to increase savings and national wealth.

“To increase the processing and production of gold mining for national savings, for national wealth we are going to proceed to activate in Callao it is the installation and start-up of an ecological plant,” he said.

The National President stated that this company will work with small miners to guarantee production while respecting environmentally friendly procedures.
