National President: In Venezuela, power resides in the people

Power in the country resides in the sovereign, empowered people, and not in the oligarchies, surnames or imperial magnates, said the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.
During the culmination of the grand march commemorating the 33rd anniversary of February 4, the Head of State applauded the massive participation of the People in the Popular Consultation of February 2, where communities and communal circuits turned massively to choose the projects that will be financed through the Federal Government Council.
“I'm sure Commander Chávez sees us. I am sure that where our beloved commander is he is proud. Chávez didn't plow in the sea, Chávez plowed in patriotic hearts, in lucid minds, in a conscious people,” he said
In this regard, the President said that in the coming days he will hold a great event to provide the resources to finance the most voted projects last Sunday.
