National president calls on private investors to partner with state companies

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, during a session of the National Council for Productive Economy, ratified the need to recover productivity in some 357 State-held companies through national and international private investment.

“I had a long meeting with the Minister of Industry and president of the Venezuelan International Investment Center (CIIP), where we reviewed more than 357 companies, not counting the basic industries of the State in Bolívar or those associated with PDVSA, CANTV, CORPOELEC, among others, where I confirmed the need to obtain partners and international investment to bring technology to recover this network of small industries in the hands of the State,” stressed the president.

In this regard, he said that in international trade “a new world has been born and Venezuela is open to these new markets.”
