On the occasion of commemorating its 15th anniversary, the National People's Guard Command held a solemn Eucharist at the Church of Our Lady of the Rosary in Chiquinquirá, a space where military personnel and members of the institution gathered to raise prayers and renew their faith.

The Catholic Holy Mass was celebrated by Deacon Father José Ursesino Monsalve and was attended by members of the General Command of the National People's Guard Command, members of the General Staff and commanders of the various units attached to this major component, a press release reveals.

The fundamental purpose of the liturgical day was to strengthen the spiritual growth of military personnel, reaffirming the values of peace, union and faith that guide the daily work of the institution for the benefit and protection of citizens.

For 15 years, the People's Guard has consolidated its work of proximity and direct coordination with communities throughout the national territory, so this religious celebration is part of the commemorative agenda aimed at ratifying the morals, the vocation of service and the spirituality of the military body.
