National Parliament repudiates attacks by Israeli Zionism against Palestine and Lebanon

The National Assembly (AN) repudiated the criminal attacks that Israeli Zionism has committed in recent days against the Peoples of Palestine and Lebanon, during the regular session of this Tuesday, October 01.

The Plenary approved the Agreement, which states that “it is imperative to cease the Israeli Zionist military aggression in the occupied Arab territories, which has caused so much pain and indignation, as well as just compensation and accountability for the serious violations of human rights against the peoples of Palestine and Lebanon, which is a generalized outcry supported by peace-loving countries such as Venezuela”.

The above-mentioned Agreement contemplates, first, categorically rejecting the atrocities and crimes against humanity committed by the Zionist government of Israel against Palestine and the Lebanese people, and secondly, they urge a peaceful solution to this escalation of aggression and violence by the Israeli government through negotiation and dialogue as a mechanism to achieve peace.

In a right to speak, the Palestinian ambassador to Venezuela, Fadi Alzaben, highlighted the expressions of solidarity, brotherhood and the repudiation of the ethnic cleansing being committed against his country, “thanks to Venezuela, thanks to the Government, for not leaving us alone, the Bolivarian people continue to play a global leadership role in supporting the Palestinian cause.”

He noted that at this urgent time for the Palestinian people it is necessary to adopt concrete measures to stop the actions perpetrated by the Israeli occupying power, as well as to stop the extremists who support the extreme right government led by Israel.

For his part, the deputy Carlos Gamarra, said that the war, attack and invasion of Gaza by Israel is a pretext by Benjamin Netanyahu to try to unify the Israeli people and to save themselves from a political point of view, regardless of the cost.
