National Parliament recognized the work of Venezuelan doctors

The National Assembly (AN) unanimously approved the Draft Agreement to honor the courage and dedication of Venezuelan doctors in their day.
During her speech, Deputy Guanipa recalled the legacy of Dr. José María Vargas, not only as a doctor and scientist, but also as a politician, whose influence lives on in every health professional in Venezuela.
He also stressed that thanks to the policies of Commander Hugo Chávez, who opened the doors to the people to study medicine in the country, and that today many men and women take up this humanistic work with commitment and love.
“Today we celebrate our doctors and doctors,
who courageously and proudly practice their profession in
every corner of Venezuela. Their dedication and love for humanity
have made us a world reference, not only for our science and
academia, but also for our solidarity,” said
Guanipa.
The deputy also highlighted the example of
Dr. José Gregorio Hernández, known as “the doctor of
the poor”, as an inspiration for new generations
of health professionals.
In addition, he thanked
President Nicolás Maduro for continuing to strengthen the Venezuelan health system
, through initiatives such as the Barrio
Adentro Mission and the national hospital network.
Guanipa invited his fellow deputies to pay tribute to the country's
doctors, recognizing their efforts and dedication,
especially during the 2020 pandemic, where Venezuela stood out
for its supportive and scientific response.
“With love and
gratitude, we celebrate our doctors and doctors, who are at the
heart of our health system. Thank you for your courage and
commitment!” , concluded.
