National Parliament approved the BCV and the AN Budgets for 2025

The National Parliament, in its regular session this Tuesday, December 3rd, approved the income and operating expenditure budgets of the Central Bank of Venezuela (BCV) and the National Assembly (AN), for Financial Economic Year 2025.
The BCV budget was presented by Deputy Orlando Camacho, who indicated that the operating revenues of the highest issuer are projected at 12,238 million 81,571 bolivars, with 31 cents.
He explained that the management of the BCV has focused on implementing monetary and exchange policies aimed at reducing inflationary pressure, through the control of the legal framework and the issuance of hedging securities.
He argued that 12.5% will be focused on the modernization of sovereign financial structures, and 31.50% on the welfare of workers in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
Camacho highlighted the strategic use of exchange interventions to stabilize the exchange rate, build confidence in the financial market and maintain the stability of the bolivar, in order to secure and strengthen the country's monetary policies.
He also indicated that the BCV seeks to perfect all internal processes to align them with the objectives of Bolivarian Socialism.
For her part, the deputy Gerardina Parada, who was in charge of presenting the budget of the AN, indicated that it consists of a budgetary quota in the amount of 1,258 million 846 thousand 342 bolivars, equivalent to 26 million 379 thousand 847 dollars.
He specified that this budget will be oriented towards the financing of investment policies, such as the leading participation of Popular Power; the strengthening of the principles of integration and international solidarity with sister countries, and the promotion of communication strategy, in order to disseminate parliamentary work and national reality to the world.
He reiterated that this budget was prepared and formulated taking into account the Nation's Plan System, especially the Plan for the Homeland 2019-2025, as well as the Plan of the Seven Transformations (Q7).
He also stressed that this budget will protect and promote the social and comprehensive welfare of Parliament's workers, as has been implemented since the recovery of the AN.
