The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, assured that the opponents came out last Saturday, August 17, “because María 'fascist' Machado and the influencers called to the streets.”

He stressed that the extremist right lacks ideology, surrounds itself with influencers, “there are no longer political parties, there are no longer political leaders, political doctrines, there is no programmatic proposal.”

In that sense, he affirmed that the great convener of the Bolivarian People to defend the Fatherland, “today is fascism, if fascism says I'm going to do this the People do it 10 more times.”

In the 54th broadcast of his program “With Maduro+”, he said that he was the first surprised to see 100 cities in the country overwhelmed with revolutionary people, “with love, calling for union and work, rejecting foreign interventionism.”

He stressed that, on the contrary, the mobilization of extremists last Saturday, August 17, was the march with the most marked failure, “since the time of Guaidó, we have not known such an appalling failure of the Venezuelan right in the streets.”

“They believed that influencers called more than Ramos Allup, Capriles, Manuel Rosales, they dispensed with political parties,” he said.
