The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, denounced that North American imperialism, with the complicity of former Colombian presidents Iván Duque and Álvaro Uribe Vélez, has hired Venezuelan and Colombian criminals to attack national stability.

In the 49th broadcast of the program “With Maduro+”, he argued that “North American imperialism, its criminal assassins Iván Duque and Álvaro Uribe have hired a group of drug traffickers.”

“I have names and surnames of Venezuelans and Colombians; they have brought assassins into Venezuela to try to harm us,” he revealed.

In this regard, he explained that part of those involved in operations deployed between 2023 and 2024 have already been captured.

“They want to spoil, to harm Venezuelan democracy (...) But they have not been able to, nor will they be able to,” he said.

The head of state stressed that “they are repetitive. When they go to elections, they always use electoral campaigns to try to destabilize the economy, public services and politics (...) But, fascist gentlemen, we are not going to allow them because peace will prevail in Venezuela.”
