The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, during the Con Maduro+ program, pointed out that, despite the resources invested by the right in social media campaigns, the left “crushed extremists and guaranteed peace in Mexico with an overwhelming victory”

“The victory of Claudia Sheinbaum, of the Let's Keep Making History coalition, in the presidential elections in Mexico marks “a progressive left-wing course, as well as the advance of the forces that want the future of Latin America and the Caribbean,” said the national president.

He stressed that despite the social media campaign, bought by the right, as an opposition soundboard intended to magnify the opposition's marches, saying that the right wing won the polls, and “even knowing the exit results that gave Claudia Sheinbaum and Morena the victory, they insisted that there was fraud, but the victory was so overwhelming that they had to keep quiet,” he explained.

In this regard, he pointed out that, as has been intended in Venezuela, the Mexican opposition intended to “shout fraud” and sow violence, a scenario that would be carried out “allied with criminal groups and drug trafficking.”

“A lot of money that went into the right-wing campaign in Mexico, large sums of money to finance the campaign on social networks, but in the battle between the people and the bots, the people won in Mexico,” he said.
