National leader attempts to advance shared tourism agreements with Türkiye

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, instructed the Minister of Popular Power for Tourism, Leticia Gómez, to strengthen shared tourism between Venezuela and Türkiye.
“I give the order Minister Leticia (Gómez) to make deep and rapid progress in major shared tourism agreements,” he said on the night of this Wednesday, September 25, at the inauguration of the ExpoFeria Türkiye - Caracas.
He highlighted the tourist power of Türkiye and how his experience is useful for the business vision for Venezuela.
“Internationally, Türkiye received 55 million tourists last year, and it is one of its biggest drivers of development (...). We have great potential and Venezuelan tourism is taking on great growth potentials,” he said.
The Head of State specified that “the air connection is consolidated, it's profitable, it's successful (...) Türkey Airlines is already willing to grow, even twice as much, and we have excellent relationships, so we have a whole world to grow,” he said.
