The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, denounced that the spokesperson of the General Secretariat of the United Nations (UN), headed by António Guterres, assumes the defense of those who came out on July 28 and 29 to murder and commit vandalism in Venezuela, calling them “political prisoners”, this while keeping silent about the rights of the victims of the violence of these fascists.

“Every time the UN spokesperson declares, what it does is repeat the State Department's story, but no one comes out to defend the victims, the families of those who were killed, attacked when they returned from work, no one comes out to make visible the pain of that family, no one advocates for the two sergeants of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) who were captured, beaten and shot”, the President denounced during the closing ceremony of the Congress World Against Fascism, Neofascism and similar trends.

From the theater Teresa Carreño, the Head of State, recalled the crime of the neighborhood leader in the state of Aragua murdered by a 13-year-old boy allegedly suggested by fascist groups on the social network Tik-Tok.
