National leader announced the launch of Gran Misión Viva Venezuela to promote popular culture

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, announced that next Sunday, February 4th, the Great Viva Venezuela Mission will be launched, aimed at promoting popular and traditional culture.

“This is another great mission for a new generation (...) and it's February 4th, because on February 4th, Venezuela was reborn, the national flag and song, the national anthem, were resurrected, an impressive thing,” he said.

He stressed that the objective is to highlight “what is ours, for the singing, poetry, dance and rhythm of Venezuela, for national identity.”

During the broadcast of his program “With Maduro+”, in its 32nd edition, he pointed out that “this mission has a huge impact on national identity and spirituality”.

He also reported that next February 2nd, on the occasion of the 25th Anniversary of the peaceful and democratic seizure of power and the beginning of the Bolivarian Revolution, with Commander Hugo Chávez, “that day we are going to reactivate the Great Young Venezuela Mission, for the support and protection of youth.”

“It brings a set of policies, actions and vertices for the accompaniment of youth, for the support and protection of youth,” he explained.
