The president of the Venezuelan Corporation of Guiana (CVG) and Minister of the People's Power for Ecological Mining Development and Basic Industries, Héctor Silva, together with the governor of the state of Bolivar, Yulisbeth García, set up a dialogue table with representatives of associations of retirees, pensioners, survivors and non-active personnel of basic companies in the state of Bolívar.

During the meeting, as reported by Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), the CVG work team presented a comprehensive proposal to advance the consolidation of improvements in labor benefits and establish a joint development path. In this space, the minister confirmed that teamwork and understanding are the ideal ways to guarantee the growth of the beer sector and the region.

Silva also said that “beyond a union leader, the CVG hurts all of us here, those of us who today live within the CVG. When we say that we are all CVG, it's a reality; we carry our flag, our badge and the CVG you have to feel it.”

In addition, he said that the actions taken by destabilizing groups, such as the demonstrations in front of the gate of the Venezuelan Corporation of Guiana, do not represent the cevegista spirit.

The day was consolidated as a favorable space for spokespersons to present their concrete proposals and proposals, aimed at strengthening the social and economic protection of the workforce in the Guayana industrial park.

This dialogue table is set up to hear the pattern of progress established by the CVG with the purpose of achieving greater benefits for the working class, which consolidates the appropriate strategies that have meant obtaining socio-economic achievements for cevegista workers.

The meeting was attended by the deputy defense lawyer of the Puerto Ordaz branch, Yurika Cermeño; the defense attorney of the Puerto Ordaz branch, Hevelyn Obregón; the Superior Assistant Attorney of the State of Bolivar, Ileska Castillo; president of the Association of Retired Persons of CVG Alcasa, Damaris Guevara; representatives of the Association of Retired Basic Companies; representatives of the Bolivarian Workers' Central Bank.
