National Government mourns the death of novelist José Napoleón Oropeza

The national government mourns the death of the Venezuelan novelist, storyteller, poet and essayist, José Napoleón Oropeza, at 73 years of age, in the early hours of Sunday, March 17 in Valencia, Carabobo state.
In this regard, the Minister of Popular Power for Culture, Ernesto Villegas, highlighted through his account on the social network X, the teacher's career, as well as the latest of his literary publications.
For his part, the Minister of Popular Power for Communication, Freddy Ñáñez, also published a message to join the grief that engulfs Venezuelan literature today.
“I am very sorry for the death of the teacher José Napoleón Oropeza, National Prize for Literature and a leader in the Carabobeño literary movement. My condolences to their families. Until every time a poet!” , he said.
