“Our parents and representatives are trusting the education system and sending their children to all these facilities that have been rehabilitated and recovered. Now they have air conditioners in their classrooms, they have the dining room working through the School Food Program,” he said.
In addition, the Governor explained that the EU Gual and Spain temporarily houses the school community of the Coralpal and Model Educational Units while the corresponding work is completed at their headquarters.
The authorities paid a sensitive tribute in memory of the 517 students who died as a result of the natural contingency, offering prayers for their families, teachers and classmates.
He stressed that, according to reports transmitted by the entity's Single Education Authority, Daniel González, in coordination with the Minister of Popular Power for Education, Héctor Rodríguez, La Guaira is among the main entities in the country to record the highest levels of school attendance during the beginning of the academic year.
