National Government deployed Plan Cayapa in the Los Cocos sector of Nueva Esparta

In compliance with the guidelines of the Head of State, Nicolás Maduro, the Ministry of the People's Power for Water Care (MINAGUAS) and the Hydrological Ministry of the Caribbean (HYDROCARIBE), addressed the Los Cocos sector of the Porlamar parish in the Mariño municipality of the state of Nueva Esparta, with the purpose of evaluating the water system that supplies more than 12 thousand inhabitants of the Insular region.

The Deputy Minister of Hydrographic Basin Management of MINAGUAS, Miguel Perozo, together with the HIDROCARIBE work team and the organized Popular Power, carried out the approach and subsequent inspection in order to specify actions to strengthen the supply of drinking water in Cocomar, Cocos en Acción, Cocos Alcatraz, Cocos Por La Paz, Leonardo Ruíz Pineda and Callejón Mérito.

He also added that the Water Workers Force initiated a cayapa plan on Maneiro Street, which was extended to the rest of the Mariño municipality where fault correction was carried out to provide better care to the inhabitants of the area, according to a press release.

In addition, in the Valle Encantado community, work will also begin on the execution of a desalination plant, the drilling of three wells, as well as the care of the dot and circle, which will have a positive impact on 275 families.
