National government deals with damages in the Unda municipality of Portuguesa after heavy rains

In the Portuguese state, a comprehensive emergency deployment was activated in the José Vicente de Unda municipality after evaluating the damage to serve 144 families from the affected communities following the overflow of the Chabasquén and Chabasquencito rivers.
Authorities from the Government of Portuguesa reported that Troncal 007 has more than 25 structural damage points, including collapsed road sections and severe landslides, keeping the passage completely interrupted on this road axis.
In addition, vehicle traffic is totally restricted in the Cerro Mulato and Quebrada Negra sectors.
To restore connectivity and remove the thousands of tons of mud and debris, the workforce of the Ministry of People's Power for Public Works initiated the technical contingency plan that includes specialized heavy machinery for the disaster area with the participation of personnel from the ministerial body.
