National Government began distributing insulin to the country's health center

The National Government activated a plan for the distribution of insulins at the national level to guarantee care for patients who receive these drugs through the Public Health System, said the Minister of Health, Magaly Gutierrez.

Through a message posted on her Instagram account, the minister reported that 14 states in the country already have biological ones obtained through cooperation agreements with Russia.

“185,363 dosage units have been distributed to the Health Centers of the Community Network, the Specialized Outpatient Network and the Hospital Network that make up the Comprehensive Community Health Area (ASIC), strengthening the Metabolic Endocrine Program,” he said.

On the other hand, he stressed that this distribution plan is being advanced on a quarterly basis.
