National Artist Day: Men and women who, with their inspiration, leave their mark on time

For several years now, National Artist's Day has been officially celebrated on January 13, a holiday that seeks to highlight the daily work carried out by those Venezuelan men and women who inspire with creativity in sounds, shapes, colors, movements and textures, laughter and joy in the public.

This day seeks to promote and thank the work done by those who are not present today, to vindicate those who are the current representatives of the cultors and to praise the greatness of national talent in all its forms.

For this reason, we want to sincerely congratulate all the members of the Venezuelan cultural family, since they are the ones who manage to move and transform consciousness with their art, preserve our traditions, create dreams and make smiles.

To all those men and women, who in the past were forgotten and are now recognized and valued, we want to send our sincere words of affection and thank them for their dedication to the development of our country, because, as the Eternal Commander Hugo Chávez rightly indicated, “culture is the fundamental basis of our freedom”.
