As part of the celebration of Plastic Artist's Day, the National Art Gallery (GAN) inaugurated the exhibition Andares, by the artist with more than three decades in the plastic arts world, Jeanethe Cordero, who during her career has ventured into multiple techniques such as porcelain painting, goldsmithery, glass fusion and sculpture.

However, according to Venezolana de Televisión, painting has been Cordero's favorite technique to develop his artistic potential and find a balance between passion for his work and personal fulfillment.

Andares merges figurative, abstraction and surrealism. Fish of various sizes and shapes exhibit a vibrant and intense color that evokes the fullness of life, freedom, fluidity and connection with nature.

Cordero mentioned that the theme of fish was selected in 2002 when he participated in the Cabriales Hall, where he was well accepted with the theme “from that Hall, I began to study their ecological environment, quality of life and that they are beings that are at many risks, so I have been so passionate about studying everything that has to do with natural resources, specifically, where the fish are”.
