A total of 18 national and international artists filled the picturesque streets of the beautiful coastal town of the state of Aragua with urban art, color and cultural encounter during the International Muralism Festival in Choroní City 2024.

The first fighter from the Girardot municipality, in the state of Aragua, Cinzia Machín de Morales, said she was honored “with all these incredible national and international artists who give us this great street art show, we invite everyone to live this extraordinary open-air gallery experience in the coastal parish of Choroní, where the inhabitants have received with great joy, enthusiasm and characteristic hospitality all this great team that makes up the festival”.

In the same way, he thanked all the local, national and international artists for the beautiful work they have done to turn Choroní into the Mural City, while ratifying the commitment of the mayor, Rafael Morales, to promote and advance the development of this maritime area as a tourist reference for locals and foreigners.

The national and international muralists joined together to put all their creativity and talent into the elaboration of their muralistic works, where they narrate and exhibit the representations of iconic figures and indigenous cultural elements of this paradisiacal Aragüean coast.

In addition to the creation of the murals, workshops, talks, gastronomic tastings and musical presentations were also held for both children and adults.

For his part, the international artist, Sergio “Bayo” Duran, from Colombia, invited “to know and experience this great exhibition, delighted with all this fraternity and kindness that has allowed us to know this population and inspire me in the execution of my work”.
