The head of Government of the Capital District, Nahum Fernández, reiterated the State's commitment to return Venezuelan migrants.
During the reception of the mobilization in defense of migrants, Fernández highlighted the receptivity that the Plan Back to the Homeland has had in Venezuelans, who are in U.S. territory.
“Many of them have no way of returning from that country and it turns out that those who told them on social networks <<you have to leave Venezuela, you have to go to the United States >> left them abandoned and alone there,” he added.
He also criticized that these Venezuelans have been “seen as a business” by the opposition.
In addition, he called on the Salvadoran President, Nayib Bukele, to “understand that he cannot be a vile in history, he cannot be left like a vile dragged into the United States. That they respect international law and human rights.
