Music and dance! “La Joropada” took over the Aquiles Nazoa Cultural House

The good melody of Venezuelan identity took hold of the facilities of the Casona Cultural Aquiles Nazoa with “La Joropada”, where the presence of great musicians and dancers highlighted traditional Venezuelan music and created an environment for family enjoyment.
During the activity, the attendees enjoyed and danced to the excellent performances of the artists and cultivators: Vidal Colmenares, Ismael Querales, Daisy Gutiérrez, Victor Papiro Armas, El Gabán Tacateño, Mónica Márquez and Cipriano García, who accompanied by professional musicians: Rolando Canonico (percussion), Alfredo Gutiérrez (Bandolas), José “Mulato” González (Bass), Ridell Castro (Harp Tuyera), Urbano Manuel (Harp Llanera), Carlos García Carbó (Guitar), Hugo Barroso (Bandolas, Violin) and Jesús Berenzola (Four), played the various genera of the jorope.
The meeting was held under the artistic direction of Juan Pérez, in a production by Grupo Tradiciones de Venezuela and the Cultural Mission.
It also included traditional dances and dances belonging to each genre, directed and conducted by teachers Freddy Medina and Thais García, belonging to the group Traditions of Venezuela, coordinated by Flor Perozo and presented by Luisa Ravelo.
