Municipal Street Government has executed more than 2,900 projects in Yaracuy

The governor of the state of Yaracuy, Julio León Heredia, stated in an interview on the Al Aire program, broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), that more than 2,900 projects have been implemented in the entity as part of the Municipal Street Government action plan in 56 meetings.
Heredia stressed that 2024 is the year of Popular Power, focused on the implementation of action plans, care and improvement of public services together with the people and the national Government. This effort is carried out using the ABC methodology, which focuses on high-impact, low-cost and rapid execution projects, identified by the people in meetings.
In addition, he stressed that through the 1×10 of Good Governance, 92% of cases have been executed, prioritizing issues such as water, electricity, public lighting, transformers, health and education. “We are focusing our greatest effort on the empowerment of the people and with the participation of government actors,” he said.
The governor also mentioned that, with the support of the Ministry of People's Power for Science and Technology (MINCYT) and the Venezuelan Institute for Scientific Research (IVIC), 74 cases have been addressed in the use of stem cells for the treatment of traumatology, skin regeneration in burn patients and in dentistry.
Finally, Heredia reported that 111,000 surgical interventions have been performed, including surgeries and neurosurgeries, 1,100 pacemakers have been placed and 1,300 cataract operations have been performed.
