MP requested full release for a young man who was arbitrarily arrested by the Táchira Police

The Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab, reported through his account on the social network X, the request for full release made by the Public Ministry in favor of the young Steven Ramírez, who was arrested in police excess.

In the publication, Saab specified that Ramírez was arbitrarily apprehended by police officers from the San Cristóbal municipality, for having a false medical certificate, which was acquired in an operation carried out by the Bolivarian National Police (PBN).

In this regard, the 30th Public Prosecutor's Office of Táchira was appointed to investigate these “excesses and arbitrary detention against the above-mentioned citizen”.

In addition, the holder of the fiscal action rejected “that for this type of situation and less serious crimes, Personal Coercion Measures are requested, which compromise the integrity and Right to Freedom of citizens”.
