MP requested an arrest warrant against 14 representatives of the Venezuelan right wing

The Attorney General,
Tarek William Saab, during a
press conference, reported on actions taken against the Referendum in defense of the Essequibo territory.
From the headquarters of the
Public Ministry, he indicated that the institution was conducting an open
investigation into the international conspiracy against Venezuela, which led to the discovery
of a plot aimed at boycotting the Consultative Referendum.
In that regard, he specified that Guyana, ExxonMobil and
the United States “in the shadows work as a team to
strip Venezuela of territory that historically and legally belongs to Venezuela.”
In this regard, he explained that “after
several investigative steps, a series of
funds were identified from the money laundering of
international organizations and foreign companies such as ExxonMobil to
conspire against the development of the Consultative Referendum for Esequiba Guiana .”
Financing that was monetized
through cryptoassets by “Damián Merlo (American), former telecommunications
businessman and former foreign policy advisor linked to Donald
Trump and advisor to Nayib Bukele (...) who had as his contact Savoi
Jandon Wright (American), who is already in detention and used the USDT cryptocurrency; and large
sums of cash to evade
financial controls and mask the origin and destination of the funds used to
conspire,” he said.
The owner of the tax action said that it
is an organization financed with funds linked to the
United States, who together with Henri Alviárez directed destabilizing and conspiratorial
actions, previously sponsored by a
group of individuals who are abroad, such as: Jhon
Goicochea, Juan Guaidó, Julio Borges, Andrés Izarra, David Smolanksi, Lester Toledo, Carlos
Vechio, Leopoldo López and Rafael Ramírez.
As a result of the investigation, the Public
Prosecutor's Office requested arrest warrants against: Jhon Goicochea;
Juan Guaidó; Julio Borges; Andrés Izarra; David Smolanski; Carlos Vecchio;
Lester Toledo; Savoi Jandon Wright; Leopoldo López, Rafael Ramírez, Roberto Abdul; Henry Alviárez; Claudia Macero and Pedro Urruchurtu .
“All of them will be charged with the
crimes of treason, conspiracy, money laundering and
association to commit crimes,” he concluded.
