The Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab, reported that a red alert was requested from the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL) against the President of Argentina, Javier Milei; the Secretary General of the Presidency of Argentina, Karina Milei, and the Minister of National Security of that country, Patricia Bullricch.

Saab explained that after the approval of the trial court acting to control the Metropolitan Area of Caracas of the deprivation of liberty measures against those mentioned , the respective request was made to the agency, adding that “we hope to see how this organization will act in the face of theft, dismantling and damage to national heritage”.

He recalled that the arrest warrant is due to the alleged commission of the crimes of aggravated theft, money laundering, simulation of a punishable act, illegitimate deprivation of liberty, unlawful interference with the operational safety of civil aviation, disabling aircraft and association.

He also reiterated the appointment of two prosecutors to process the above-mentioned arrest warrant, which stems from Milei's connection to the theft of the EMTRASUR plane and for crimes against humanity in accordance with the universal jurisdiction contemplated in international law.
