MP issues arrest warrant against actress Marian Valero for aggravated extortion

The Attorney General of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Tareck William Saab, announced this Sunday that the Public Ministry (MP) issued an arrest warrant against actress Marian Valero, who is being investigated for crimes of aggravated extortion.
Through his account on the social network X, William Saab pointed out that Valero, together with Humberto Estaba and Ruth Suárez, “are being investigated for the crimes of Aggravated Extortion, Hate Incitement and Criminal Association.”
“This mafia extorts its victims by exposing them to public derision, through defamatory posts on social networks, if they do not transfer large amounts of money to them in dollars,” said the prosecutor, according to the complaints verified by his office.
He added that the defendants have a request for a red alert with the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol).
