After a medical evaluation by professionals from the National Service of Medicine and Forensic Sciences (SENAMECF), the Public Ministry (MP) requested the release of a young woman who was in detention for her participation in acts of violence promoted by the extreme right after the presidential election of July 28.

This was reported by the Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab through his Instagram account, where he noted that, after the assessment by the doctors and the request of the MP, the young woman was released.

The young woman joins the 225 alternative measures granted by the MP between November 15 and 16 in accordance with article 285 of the Constitution of the Republic, which establishes that the Public Prosecutor's Office is responsible for ensuring compliance with constitutional rights and guarantees in judicial proceedings.

At the time, Saab stressed that “cases are being reviewed. Cases are being processed. Whoever is innocent will be released. Whoever is found guilty will be convicted.”
