More than 800 pregnant women have been treated with the program The Miracle of Life, promoted by the Government of Guárico with the objective of assisting, guiding and training pregnant women, as well as providing timely tools to ensure family well-being.
According to information issued by the regional director of the Niño Simon Foundation, Dr. Fabiola De Córdova, mothers receive free care in gynecology, ultrasound, prenatal care, cytology, electrocardiogram, laboratory tests, blood pressure monitoring, nutritional evaluation, dental evaluation, prenatal psychoprophylaxis and other services.
This program also offers talks on self-esteem, gender-based violence, humanized childbirth, breastfeeding, immunization schedule, healthy child control, contraceptive methods and psychomotor development of the newborn.
In addition, maternal kits, vitamins, dietary supplements and gifts were delivered.
It is important to note that this program has benefited women from the 15 municipalities of the Llanera region.
