More than 724,000 medical supplies arrived in Monagas

A total of 724,703 units of drugs and medical surgical equipment, for the provision of 15 hospitals during the months of December 2024 and January 2025, arrived in Monagas state.
This was reported by Lesbia Ybarra, head of the warehouse of the General Drug Supply Office of the entity's Regional Health Directorate, who also highlighted that among the products received, there are the following: antibiotics, analgesics, antipyretics, antiallergic drugs and disposable materials: gauze, gloves, overalls and gowns, among others.
“For us as health workers, the main thing is that every patient who requires clinical care in our healthcare centers receives it properly and that, at the same time, they can count on the supplies and medications they need to the best of their ability,” he said.
According to a note released by the Venezuelan News Agency (AVN), clinical supplies will be distributed to hospitals in the Maturín municipality, namely: Dr. Manuel Núñez Tovar, Doña Felicia Rondón de Cabello, from the Venezuelan Social Security Institute, Simon Bolivar, Luis Daniel Beaperthuy Psychiatric Psychiatric Center, and the Miguel Hernández Cardiovascular Center of the East.
As well as in the Nicolás Goannini hospitals, in Punceres; Elvira Bueno Mesa, in Piar; Darío Márquez, in Bolivar; Tulio López Ramírez, in Sotillo; and José Antonio Urrestarazu, in Caripe.
The Type I Health Center, in the Uracoa municipality; Dr. Luis González Espinoza, in Ezequiel Zamora; Ana Torrealba, in the Libertador jurisdiction; Dr. Pablo Villarroel, in Acosta; and Ernesto Guzmán, in Cedeño, will also receive equipment.
