More than 5 thousand Barinas subscribers access CANTV fiber optic services

Nearly 5,000 CANTV subscribers in Barinas will benefit from the modernization of the telecommunications network.

According to information released by CANTV, “technical and operational tasks are carried out in sectors of the center of the city of Barinas, the Alto Barinas parish and Socopó, where users have the Aba Ultra, Aba TV GO and IP Telephony services, on an infrastructure with greater capacity to meet current connectivity needs”.

The Network Modernization Plan has allowed the construction of more than 20,000 optical ports in the state of Barinas, an infrastructure that favors the progressive expansion of the coverage of services supported by optical fiber.

“With these actions, CANTV continues to expand and modernize its telecommunications infrastructure in Barinas, to promote the progressive incorporation of new users and strengthen connectivity in the entity's homes, businesses and institutions,” the company said.
