More than 437,000 medical services were offered in the third quarter of the year in Monagas

In the state of Monagas, 437,370 health services were offered in the third quarter of the year.

The information was released through a press release issued by the government in which it was detailed that this social right was guaranteed in 16 hospitals that have 27 vital medical services and 25 active operating rooms.

In this regard, the Single Health Authority, Yérika Alzolay, explained that there are 5,338 operations performed; 101,245 outpatient visits, 49,937 hospitalizations, 1,972 dialysis, 9,676 rehabilitations and 433 free chemotherapy.

“In the same way, it was highlighted that by paraclinics they performed 10,270 radiologies, 5,075 images, 90,90,87 laboratory tests and tests, and 27,26 transfusion and examination procedures were processed at the Blood Bank,” the note added.

With regard to gynecological and obstetric care, 13,223 attendances were registered and in the diet and nutrition service there were 8,558.

The vital areas totaled 107,964 clinical evaluations, between 63,735 in adult patients and 23,612 pediatric patients. 7,404 minor surgeries and 8,989 surgeries were also performed in various rooms, including Trauma Shock, Plaster and Nebulization.
