More than 4,200 families from Vista al Mar, in Catia la Mar, directly benefited from the deployment of the social program A Star of the Sea, which follows the guidelines of the Hugo Chávez Great Equality and Social Justice Mission.

According to information issued by the Government of La Guaira, Governor José Alejandro Terán, reported that a comprehensive approach was carried out in the community for 20 consecutive days to rehabilitate 300 facades of houses, place 240 tons of asphalt, completely condition the community court and install more than 190 luminaires.

In addition, 76 entrepreneurial families received items such as shaving machines, industrial mixers, freezers, hairdressing chairs, stamping machines and baking ovens to boost their productive projects.

At this point alone, more than 17,000 people, 4,200 families from 11 protein sectors, have benefited; 85 tons of food have been distributed,” said Terán, who visited the community with the first female fighter from the state of La Guaira, María Teresa Ramos de Terán.
