More than 4,000 people participated in the San Sebastian Walk and Pilgrimage 2024, held in the spaces of Henri Pittier de Aragua.

The day began at 5:45 in the morning of Saturday, January 27, in the presence of the governor of the state of Aragua, Karina Carpio; the mayor of the Ocumare Costa de Oro municipality, Wilmer Leal; the sole authority in tourism; Maritza Mendoza and the president of INSAJUV, Alba Galindo.

In their participation for the start of the walk, the regional mandaría emphasized that this is their third year accompanying the event and emphasized the impeccable participation of the State Security Agencies, who at all times protected the participants of this 42-kilometer route to be healthy and safe in their entirety.

In addition, “we hope that next year they will join us and we will join more,” said the highest regional authority.

On the tour, more than 25 control and hydration points were installed, along with ambulances, bicycles, for doctors and state security officials. The 42 kilometers ended in Plaza Bolívar de Ocumare on the Costa de Oro.
