More than 2,300 Miranda students were served by the Health Goes to School program

More than 2,300 students from the Sucre municipality of Miranda state were treated by the Health Goes to School program , according to information issued by the Government.

According to the note, the exact number attended was 2,334 students who received medical care at the Luis Beltrán Prieto Figueroa educational unit , as part of the deployment carried out by the Ministry of Popular Power for Health in the national territory.

Among the services provided, the following stand out: vaccination, nutrition, deworming, general medicine, pediatrics, ophthalmology, among other medical services, specified the single health authority in the state of Miranda, Marelia Guillén, who added that during the day a series of training talks were held on oral, mental, sexual and reproductive health.

He also added that “through the Comprehensive Community Health Areas (ASIC), we carry out medical-gynecological consultations, delivery of medications and contraceptive methods to adolescent girls, guaranteeing comprehensive care and medical support for the prevention of sexual diseases,” he explained.
