More than 2,000 children from the Páramo axis of the state of Mérida enjoyed lunch prepared in the Mucubají Lagoon by the Government of the entity.
According to the publication of the newspaper Última Noticias (UN), children from the communities of Chachopo, Piñango, La Venta, Las Piedras, Cacute, Apartaderos from the municipalities of Rangel (Mucuchí), Miranda (Timotes), Cardenal Quintero (Santo Domingo) and Pueblo Llano were treated.
The governor of the State specified that he expects to offer more than 15,000 lunches throughout the state, “to date the infants of the Valles de Mocoties and Panamericana axes have benefited, we will be doing the activity in the Libertador municipality (Mérida) to conclude these days on December 28 in the town of Los Nevados”
He added that President Nicolás Maduro sent more than 170,000 toys that are being distributed in the 23 municipalities of the entity, “with the links of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), mayors and axis chiefs are delivering the toys.”
