The mayor of the municipality Cristóbal Rojas,
Humberto Marte, reported the start of a mega-day of
comprehensive care for more than 2,000 teachers in the jurisdiction.
In this regard, he explained that this is an
activity that guarantees teachers medical consultations in
different specialties: ophthalmology, general medicine, nutrition,
dentistry, among others.
“The goal is for our educators to
start classes next Monday, September 30, in optimal conditions, hand in hand with
the community and our educational advice,” Marte said.
The mayor explained that medical care,
instructed by the Ministry of Education and the National Government, includes all
school and high school personnel: mother cooks, workers and administrative staff.
