After the assassination of the broadcaster, Muhammad Saleh al-Bardawil and his family, in a bombing in the city of Khan Younis, located in the southern Gaza Strip, the number of journalists killed by Israel was revealed.
The government's Media Office in Gaza strongly condemned what it called Israel's “deliberate murder” of press professionals, noting that these crimes are part of a “systematic policy” to silence coverage of the genocide.
The Gazan authorities demanded that the International Federation of Journalists, the Union of Arab Journalists and global organizations “condemn these crimes” and press to stop impunity.
Thus, they have directly held Israel, the United States (USA) and countries such as the United Kingdom, Germany and France responsible for their support for the “Israeli genocide”.
The above-mentioned entity stated that more than 50,357 Palestinians have been killed, including 15,000 children, based on figures from the Ministry of Health in Gaza and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF).
According to data from the United Nations Children's Fund, some 322 children were killed and 609 injured in Gaza by Israeli bombings.
However, he warns that these numbers could increase if access to vital resources such as water, food and medicines, blocked by Israel, is not guaranteed.
