The consultation with the People's Power to decide on the projects that will be implemented in the communities and how they will distribute the resources allocated to improve the quality of life of the inhabitants, will involve the participation of more than 200 international observers.

“These are people who are very interested in what is happening in Venezuela, people who are aware of what a Community Council means, because its only reference is the representation of a democracy,” said the Minister of Popular Power for Communes and Social Movements, Guy Vernaéz.

In this regard, Vernaéz stressed that “This Sunday there is a change in the entire history of the social movement process that is built on the basis of the call of the president before a call that was being held in Miranda and which now takes on a national character, we are talking about the participation of more than 46,000 community councils”.

This consultation will have almost the same number of voting centers registered for the presidential election of this July 28, about which he stated: “The democracy that we are doing in Venezuela has no reference, in this particular for the process on the 21st we are talking about more than 15,000 voting centers, to approve more than four thousand 500 projects that will be executed by the same popular organization.”

For Sunday's electoral movement, the National Electoral Council, the Strategic Operational Command of the National Armed Forces (CEOFANB), and the Bolivarian National Armed Forces are involved to ensure that the process is carried out correctly in all sectors.
