This Sunday, Uruguay's National Emergency System (SINAE) confirmed that 1,561 people have been displaced by floods in various areas of the South American country.

 

In this regard, he explained that most of the displaced are in southern Uruguay: San José with 582; Florida with 259; Paysandú 223; and Canelones 162.

 

In addition, SINAE reported that 1,418 electricity services are still interrupted out of the 19,000 initially affected and 21 road cuts.
