More than 150 people have lost their lives as a result of the siege that, for more than 5 days, has been carried out by Israeli military forces against the Al-Nasser hospital in Khan Younis, in southern Gaza.

The spokesman for the Palestinian Ministry of Health, Ashraf al-Qudra, reported this Saturday that there are still 30 bodies that could not be identified and are in the hospital warehouse.

In addition, almost 90% of the medical staff have already been evacuated from the hospital and have escaped to the Rafah border crossing, according to statements by the hospital's head of Plastic Surgery and Bone System, Ahmed al-Moqrabi, quoted by the Qatari network Al-Jazeera.

Al-Moqrabi said that there are only 8 surgeons and some patients left in the health center. Approximately a few hundred patients need care and operations, but due to a lack of staff, they have suspended surgical interventions.

On Tuesday, Israeli tanks fired at the upper facilities of Al-Nasser Hospital, besieged it and for five days did not allow the entry of wounded, medical supplies, water or food.

Of the 36 hospitals and health centers in the coastal enclave, only 16 are partially functioning due to deliberate air and artillery attacks by Israel.
